Howdy howdy!

It's been nearly a year since I last updated this site, so I figured I should at least check in. A lot has changed since last summer!

We welcomed our son Asher Nathaniel to the world in January and life's been a happy whirlwind every since! We've been keeping most of our baby news and pictures on BabySites.com . If you're interested in following along, search for Asher in the directory on their home page or just shoot me an email and I'll send you a link. :)

A few teaser pics:

As far as this site goes, our photo host (Phanfare) made some major changes a few months ago and it broke all of the photo links I have on this site. :( One day I might go back and try to repair them, but the task is just too daunting at the moment. If you have a particular album you want to see, email me and I'll send you a link. If you'd like access to all of our photos you can sign up for a free Phanfare account and link to me as family or friend: Our Phanfare Page

Happy surfing!

Pictures page has been updated again... check it out!

You'll notice our most exciting news recently - as of June 20, I have a new nephew!! And he's absolutely gorgeous. (If you don't believe me, check out the pics!) Congratulations to Brad and Amanda on the new addition to their family.

Hope y'all had a wonderful 4th of July!

Through the spring and on to summer! Check our our updated pictures page!

Merry Christmas, y'all!

I hope everyone has all their Christmas shopping done and that you're enjoying some time with your family! We (finally) made it to that point ourselves!

I figured since our Christmas card went out with the address of our website, I'd at least update here to greet any new visitors we might have. If you're out there, we'd love it if you'd leave us a note, either as a comment here or in our guestbook! Sometimes I wonder if I'm talking to myself! :)

It's been a busy year for us, and I think that's been reflected in the general lack of upkeep on this page. But we are slowly getting up to date on the pictures page, and that will give you a pretty good idea of what we've been up to!

Since I have yet to wrap ONE Christmas present, I had better get offline and get to that task. But before I do, I wand to wish you a safe and happy Christmas and an outstanding 2007! Hopefully we'll be seeing you soon!

...And that my SECOND post of 2006 comes in October! :)

I'm not going to even bother trying to recap the past 8 months, but I've finally gotten the pictures page up-to-date, so hopefully you'll understand why this hasn't been updated more often. We've been a little busy. :P

If you're still out there reading, thanks for your patience! Maybe you won't have to wait another 8 months for the next post.

But no guarantees. ;)

Kinda sad that my first post of 2006 comes in mid-February, but what can you do? Life's been moving in fast-forward lately so I've gotten a bit behind here. Pictures have been posted through the beginning of January but I have a lot more that will hopefully be up in the next week or so! So keep checking back!

We survived (and even enjoyed!!) our annual Christmas Tour of Texas this year with stops in Katy, Port Lavaca, and Port O'Connor. It was really good to see everyone! We toasted the arrival of 2006 with a casual dinner at our house with old friends, followed by attending Doug and Mary's New Year's Eve party (with newer friends). The holiday madness did not stop there, however! There was still a "re-gifting" party at Patrick and Lisa's at the beginning of January and a holiday celebration with Dad and Brigid here in Austin the last weekend of January.

I can't leave January without mentioning birthdays and new arrivals! So, Happy Birthday to Dad B, Grannie Mae and Aunt Tessie. And a big welcome to Zane Elliott (Karmen and Tim's son) and Isabel Maureen (Ted and Jill's daughter).

As usual, extracurriculars are taking up a lot of our time. The second session of Richie's indoor volleyball league is in full swing and weekend tournaments are picking up as well. Unfortunately, the first weekend tourney of 2006 was not a very strong showing. The guys hope to get back in the swing of things in plenty of time for Nationals in May.

Natalie's stint as a Toros Dancer is going well - the season is flying by! Only nine home games (including two weekends) are left so let Natalie know if you'd like to come see a game! Click here for schedule. You may even get to see a good basketball game - since my last post the Toros have improved to 17-12 and are only two games out of the lead!

Finally, on to February. Our big news this month was our long-weekend ski trip to Keystone, CO with college buddy Scott. We got in about 3.5 days of skiing and had a wonderful time. It had been 5 years since the last time we hit the slopes, but apparently skiing is like riding a bicycle! :) I think Richie was jealous of the air Scott was getting on his snowboard because he swears next trip he's trading in his skis for a board!

And lastly but not leastly, a late Happy Valentine's Day to you! We love you guys!

Howdy y'all! Considering that many of our holiday cards went out yesterday containing a link to this site, we figured we'd better get in here and update it! The pictures page was recently updated as well.

As you can probably tell from the pictures, we've been staying busy. Richie's volleyball league at ended their season undefeated and will start play again in January. His softball team finished their season dead last, but who cares? They had fun playing! Natalie's been busy as well, as the Toros season gets into full swing. She hasn't witnessed the team win at home yet but has faith that they'll improve as the season goes on ( as will the dance team! :P ). In the meantime, she's really enjoying the experience despite the long hours.

As usual, November and December have been filled with holiday celebrations so we've been making the rounds. With no free weekends in sight, we decided to take a couple of days vacation this year and escape to Fredericksburg to relax and celebrate our birthdays last week. We had a really nice time and were able to finish up most of our Christmas shopping. We then headed to Houston mid-day Saturday for what Natalie thought was a holiday party but turned out to be a surprise birthday party!! Thanks Courtney and Lisa for putting that together and to Richie for dragging her there - it was sooo much fun! :)

And speaking of birthdays, I have to send out a special Happy Birthday today to Richie!! We'll be celebrating this momentous occasion at our place tomorrow evening. And while I'm at it, Happy Birthday to all of you other December babies out there!

Wishing all of you safe travels and lots of quality time with friends and family this holiday season. See ya next year!! (Since we all know I probably won't be back to post in here before then!) Cheers!
