Deck the halls with boughs of holly...

Yup, it's that time of year again! The holiday season is in full swing and we've been running around pretty much non-stop! So we have a lot to catch up on in here!

Let's go all the way back to Thanksgiving week...

The David clan arrived to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday morning, and we had a traditional turkey dinner at our house with the whole family plus the newly engaged Brad and Amanda ( CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS! ). We had a few hours to sleep off the tryptophan before heading downtown to attend the traditional pre-t.u. game Midnight Yell on the steps of the State Capitol building. Friday was a round of golf before everyone settled in to watch the big game. Unfortunately the Ags got outscored this time. :( Mama B dropped by with her friend Jon for a few minutes after the game, so we had a very full house!

Following a quick brunch Saturday morning, everyone headed home and we spent pretty much the rest of the weekend relaxing. We went to see The Incredibles which was really good - go see it if you haven't!! We also picked up our Christmas tree and slowly (over the past couple of weeks) got it decorated! Our halls are now officially decked! :)

Weekend before last (Dec. 3-5), Natalie performed at an Ice Bats game Friday night. Country music singer Kevin Fowler was performing after the game so we got to meet him and have our picture taken with him! Chris was able to stop by the game on his way into town to watch some volleyball and hang out. Saturday, Richie played in a USAV tournament here in Austin. His team was missing some key players but still managed to make it to the semi-finals. Natalie went with Brad and Amanda and Amanda's sister Jennifer to check out the location they've chosen for their April 2006 wedding - it's gorgeous!!! Sunday, we went to a holiday party for Natalie's book club. It would've been a fantastic weekend if Natalie had not come down with the flu-like symptoms that Richie had a couple of weeks ago! She rested as much as she could over the weekend and ended up taking that Monday off of work to try and speed recovery. She's feeling a lot better now... all that's left is a lingering cough.

This past weekend was another Ice Bats game on Friday night and we caught a late dinner at Pappasito's afterwards. On Saturday we braved the crowds at the mall (and other places) to get some things checked off of our Christmas shopping lists. Saturday night was the annual holiday party for Natalie's company, and Sunday afternoon Natalie had an extended Bat Girls rehearsal. We were able to fit in a birthday dinner for Natalie Sunday evening at Eddie V's. Thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes via e-mail, snail mail, and phone!! Natalie definitely felt loved!

Okay, I think that brings us up to date! I'm pretty far behind on getting pictures posted but they'll be up eventually...

Fa la la la la...
